One of music's most treasured men returns to his country roots to give 12 golden classics the special John Fogerty treatment.
Surrounding himself with some of the most seasoned musos around, the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame member steps into the “Blue Ridge Rangers” saddle once more. The result is a fun and authentic set that feels more like an old-fashioned jam with friends, complete with hoots and hollers, and less like the studio-recorded album it is.
Since the Rangers’ only other appearance in 1973, the former Credence Clearwater Revival frontman thought often of a revival. “I told myself if I ever get to do this again … I’d fine the best guys I could and have fun and so that’s what happened this time.”
Accompanying the rousing CD is a bonus DVD, which features memorable acoustic performances and intimate behind-the-scenes footage.
