Diesel dips into the smoky-bar blues of yesteryear for a project album that plays like a good ol' jam session.
After 1996's Short Cool Ones, Diesel's love affair with the blues grew, but it wasn't until this project that he actually laid his love for fired-up, dirty blues down on record. Joining forces with big-name bluesmen like Bernie Bremond and the Lizotte brothers on horns, Diesel plays the old tracks he lives for, plus five originals creating, what he calls, "an encyclopaedia of what blues is to me".
