Australian country music singer Steve Lee is making a bigger bang than usual with his controversial solo album, I Like Guns.
Produced by Steve's good mate, country music legend Bill Chambers, this album features 12 memorable songs about guns. The idea for this album came about when Steve wrote the title track, I Like Guns, for his family band The Lees, and this got him thinking where had all the good gun songs gone?.
If you spent five minutes with Steve, you’ll realise he is not a man who stands for cruelty or violence, quite the opposite actually. He said, “I really wanted this album to help us reflect on the good aspects of gun ownership and remind us that guns are part of our Australian heritage”.
Each song has been hand-picked by Steve for a particular reason. It includes cult classics, Devil’s Right Hand and Don’t Take Your Guns To Town, the moving She Don’t Like Guns and the captivating Gun Shy Dog.
