Catherine Britt, the angelic voice behind Little Wildflower and Too Far Gone, is back with her fourth studio album, one that she says truly represents her as an artist and a songwriter.
Recorded towards the end of 2009 at Melbourne's iconic Sing Sing Studio and produced by country superstars Shane Nicholson and Kasey Chambers' father, Bill, Catherine Britt is an uncompromising and heartfelt album born of love, pain, loss and sorrow. Catherine's most personal, diverse and mature album to date, it's also a true songwriter’s album – as Catherine either wrote or co-wrote all of the tracks.
Catherine told Rhythms Magazine “You might say that this album is me getting back to my roots, and there’s one major difference: I have creative control ... I’m on track now, and I know who I wanna be".
