Set during World War II, The Beauty Chorus is an enthralling drama inspired by the bravery of female pilots from the Air Transport Auxiliary (A.T.A.) unit.
January, 1941: Evie Chase, the beautiful daughter of a RAF commander, wears fashionable high heels as she joins the A.T.A, the civilian transport service that transports Tiger Moth and Spitfire planes to bases across Britain. Two other women also sign up: Stella Grainger, a forlorn young mother who has returned from Singapore without her baby, and Megan Jones, an idealistic teenager.
Billeted together in a cottage in a sleepy country village, Evie, Stella and Megan find romance, confront loss, and forge friendships that will last a lifetime.
