Biography:
Former journalist Sebastian Faulks debuted as novelist with A Trick Of The Light in 1984 and went on to make a huge impact with his French series, The Girl At The Lion D'Or, Birdsong and Charlotte Gray, with the latter made into a movie starring Cate Blanchett.

Faulks cemented his reputation with the Cold War romance On Green Dolphin Street in 2001. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
